Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of terms

By accessing or using RustAPI Cloud ("Service"), operated at rustapi.cloud and api.rustapi.cloud, you agree to these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

These Terms apply to all visitors, registered users, and CLI clients that authenticate against the platform API.

2. Description of service

RustAPI Cloud provides managed hosting for RustAPI applications. The Service lets you:

• Authenticate with GitHub OAuth
• Upload release binaries via the CLI or API
• Run deployed applications on *.rustapi.cloud subdomains
• Monitor deployment status through the web dashboard

We may add, change, or remove features at any time. Beta or preview features are provided as-is and may be discontinued without notice.

3. Accounts and authentication

You must sign in with a valid GitHub account to use deploy and dashboard features. You are responsible for:

• Maintaining the security of your GitHub credentials
• All activity performed under your account or issued API tokens
• Revoking compromised tokens promptly

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or pose a security risk to the platform or other users.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to use the Service to:

• Host malware, phishing, spam, or illegal content
• Attack, probe, or disrupt other users, deploys, or infrastructure
• Mine cryptocurrency or run resource-abusive workloads without permission
• Circumvent rate limits, authentication, or platform safeguards
• Violate applicable laws or third-party rights

We reserve the right to remove content, stop deploys, and block traffic that violates this policy.

5. Your applications and data

You retain ownership of your application code, binaries, and data. By deploying to RustAPI Cloud, you grant us a limited license to store, execute, route traffic to, and back up your binaries solely to operate the Service.

You represent that you have the rights to deploy your applications and that they do not infringe third-party intellectual property or privacy rights.

6. Availability and support

We strive for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. Maintenance, outages, and third-party failures may affect the Service.

Support is provided on a best-effort basis through GitHub issues and email. No formal SLA is offered unless separately agreed in writing.

7. Fees and billing

Current hobby-tier access may be offered at no charge. We may introduce paid plans, usage limits, or overage fees with reasonable notice.

If paid features are introduced, continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance of updated pricing terms.

8. Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access immediately if you breach these Terms, create security risk, or if required by law.

Upon termination, we may delete your deploys and stored binaries after a reasonable retention period, except where retention is required by law.

9. Disclaimer of warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, RustAPI Cloud and its operators shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, data, or goodwill arising from your use of the Service.

Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim, or fifty US dollars if no fees were paid.

11. Changes to terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws applicable in the jurisdiction where the Service operator is established, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Disputes shall be resolved in the competent courts of that jurisdiction unless otherwise required by mandatory consumer protection law.
